Connecting OctoSniff To Game Consoles: Wired To PC Guide (Recommended)
In this guide, we will provide instructions on how to utilize OctoSniff through both a VPN and a standard Wi-Fi adapter. While the wired method may be slightly more complex, it is recommended as it does not require an ARP spoofing attack.

To be noted:
This video only shows pulling for games that support decryption. If you want to pull IPs on games that don't support decryption (e.g., COD, Destiny, Rainbow 6 Siege®, Fortnite, etc.) CLICK HERE.
GTA V Decryption for PlayStation shown in this video is patched. Red Dead Redemption & GTA V will display via PS Tab for Xbox/PlayStation/PC.
OctoSniff V4 Interface (Network Adapter Selection)
If using a VPN, select your VPN Adapter in the interface.
Requirements
A laptop or desktop with a Wi-Fi card or 2 LAN ports (e.g., USB to LAN and 1 default LAN port).
1 LAN cable if using Wi-Fi card, or 2 LAN cables if using LAN to LAN.
A VPN if using a VPN. (Your VPN must use a protocol method that is not WireGuard. If your VPN is using WireGuard, you won't be able to get IPs; simply switch the VPN's protocol via settings.)
Wi-Fi 2 LAN: Using Wi-Fi on PC ONLY (Game Console is wired to PC)
Follow these steps to configure your setup:
Connect Your PC and Game Console:
Connect your PC to your Game Console using an Ethernet cable (RJ-45).
Your PC will act as a router in this case.
Enable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on Your Wireless Adapter:
Open Network Connections (Shortcut: Press Windows key + R and enter
ncpa.cpl
).Right-click your Wireless adapter and click Properties.
Navigate to the Sharing tab.
Check Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection.
If there are only two network connections listed, it will automatically share the connection. If prompted to select an adapter, choose your Ethernet adapter, then click OK.
Configure Your Console's Internet Connection:
When prompted, select Custom for the connection setup. Auto does not work reliably.
When asked if you want Wireless or Wired, choose Wired.
The rest can be set to Auto, but ensure you don’t select Auto until you choose the Wired option.
Test the Connection:
If everything worked, your console should be connected to the internet and you should be ready to go!
LAN to LAN: Using a Wired Connection from Your Router to PC, Then from PC to Console
Follow these steps to set up your wired connection:
Connect Your Devices:
Connect your PC to your router (via Ethernet cable, or through a switch connected to the router).
Connect your Game Console to your PC via an Ethernet cable (using a USB Ethernet adapter unless your PC has two LAN ports).
Enable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on Your LAN Adapter:
Open Network Connections (Shortcut: Press Windows key + R and enter
ncpa.cpl
).Right-click your LAN/Ethernet adapter and click Properties.
Go to the Sharing tab.
Check Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection.
You will likely be using a USB Ethernet adapter to connect your console to your PC. Identify it by looking for the word USB below the network name.
Rename the adapter to something you'll remember, as you'll use this in future steps.
Configure Your Console's Internet Connection:
When prompted, select Custom for the connection setup (again, Auto does not work well here).
When asked for Wireless or Wired, select Wired.
You can leave the remaining options as Auto, but don’t select Auto until you’ve confirmed Wired is chosen.
Test the Connection:
If everything is configured correctly, your console should now be online and ready to go!
